Back Home!!: Wednesday, March 9th

We arrived in Chicago at 4:45 a.m. (5:45 our time) Wednesday morning, got some breakfast, walked around, and boarded our tiny little plane to Rochester at 7:15 (8:15) and then had to wait to take off because of all the rain- there were about 8 planes ahead of us but we did take off and made it home a little after 10 a.m. Jesse found out from looking at the board in Rochester that the flight after ours had been canceled so we were both really thankful to have made it home on time!

So neither kid is looking at the camera in our happy family reunion picture but it's the only one we have so that's why I'm posting it. Corban picked out this lei for me to wear when they picked us up so that was really cute. Corban was so excited to see us and Malorie's initial reaction was yelling and jumping up and down but then when we were holding her, she did seem a little confused. She continued to look at me a little funny the rest of that day and on Thursday but now life is totally back to normal.

Awesome vacation but glad to be home with our kiddos!! Really, the whole thing was surreal to me. It's hard to believe I was in Hawaii a little over a week ago seeing the sights, especially not having the kids with me! It was weird! But a good weird:)
