Hawaii Vacation, Day 8!!: Monday, March 7th

Monday my Mom and brother Dan took the kids to the library for story time:)

Monday was our last full day in Hawaii so we spent the morning relaxing on our balcony, walking the pier closest to our hotel, reading and swimming on Waikiki Beach, and going in the hot tub at our hotel.

Monday afternoon, we took a taxi to the bottom of the Diamond Head Crater and hiked to the top. Most of the hike was paved with lots of stairs so it wasn't too bad but it wasn't so wonderful on my bad knees. The view from the top was worth it, though!

After taking a bunch of pictures from the top and enjoying the spectacular view, we headed back down the crater.

After our hike, we sat under a tree and ate a late lunch (we shared a loaded hot dog and mango flavored ice- healthy, I know:) then we took a taxi back down to our hotel and walked by all the shops and restaurants along Waikiki Beach since we still had our hiking boots on. After our walk, we took showers, relaxed on our balcony, and then walked back down the strip to The Cheesecake Factory for a late dinner.

After dinner, we took our time walking down the strip back to our hotel, stopping in shops to buy little things for the kids. We had a great night and were so sad that it was our final night in Hawaii:(
