Valentine's Day

As you know, Valentine's Day was on Saturday so Jesse was attempting to sleep in when Corban woke up (remember, he's sharing a room with us while Jesse remodels the upstairs so there's no escaping him in the morning). I had 2 gift bags by my side of the bed saved for Jesse and Corban for Valentine's Day and of course, Corban spotted them right away and wanted to open them. I get really excited about holidays so we hopped in bed with Jesse to open the gifts:) Don't worry, we let Jesse sleep another hour after the gift opening was over!

Corban's gifts: a frog that said, "Kiss Me" (hey, he picked it out himself last Tuesday at Wal-mart- thankfully, 2 year olds don't have much of a memory 4 days later so it was all new to him:) and a heart sucker.

Daddy and Corban playing swords with their suckers.
The three of us went out to eat for dinner which was a great treat for me to not have to cook or do dishes!

Gramps and Grammy stopped by around 8 p.m. to wish us a happy Valentine's Day. They got Corban some socks and this cool wooden sneaker toy that helps kids learn to tie their shoes. Corban played with it for a long time on Sunday.

My gift from my parents:) Oh, and Jesse got me an awesome water bottle for Valentine's Day- it is stainless steal (none of that cancer causing plastic anymore for me!)
After my parents left and we got Corban to bed, we watched our rented movie, ate cheesecake, and relaxed. It was a great day!
