Visit to Grandpa & Grandma's Farm!

After Jesse got off work on Friday, we drove the 2 and 1/2 hours to my in-laws' farm in PA for a quick weekend visit. On Saturday, Jesse and his Dad took on the huge project of cutting down unwanted bushes and trees surrounding the farm house and burning them up while Jesse's Mom, Corban, and I bought groceries at Big M, played on the playground, went on a couple of walks, made meals, and even squeezed in a nap:) This was the first time we had a chance to meet my in-laws' new dog, Moses. He's a yellow lab- a puppy with lots of energy! We tried to keep him a safer distance away from Corban after experiencing a sad incident of Moses knocking Corban down on Saturday. We just have to get Moses used to kids and then maybe he won't do that! On another note, the drive home yesterday was quite eventful. We got about 10 minutes down the road when Corban started throwing up...fun times. I think the roads were way too windy for him or something because he was fine throughout the night last night and is fine today, plus he never had a fever so...only time will tell. Then we were about 45 minutes from home when we started dragging something under our car. We pulled over to find our tail pipe half on the ground but Jesse figured out a way to tie it under the car with some metal thing (he is so handy!) and we made it home in one piece- praise the Lord!
