Climbing Skylight Mtn.

So, we had the annual Adirondack Mtn. hike with Jesse's family last weekend. My parents and Dan joined us again this year so that was exciting. It was a great time as usual but cold this year! It got down to 30 degrees both nights so Corban slept in my sleeping bag with me which made for bad nights of sleep for both of us but that was better than having a cold baby! My mom, mother-in-law, niece, Corban, and I only hiked in 2 miles with the rest of the crew and then hiked back cause we didn't think it wise to hike to the top of a mountain with babies in case someone fell or something. So, the grandmas and babies and I spent the rest of the day walking around the village of Lake Placid and then at our camp site. The hikers arrived back to our camp site a little before 10 p.m. for dinner- another 12 hour hike- but they all made it to the top!

Hannah and Corban in the leanto we rested in after the first 2 miles- don't they look happy to be hikers?! :)

A shot from Joy's camera- the hikers who made it to the top of Skylight Mountain!! (my Dad, Nathan, Jeanna, Jesse, Ben, Joanna, Joy, Dan, and my father-in-law)
