Saying Goodbye to our '90 Toyota Camry:(

On Friday, March 18th, our beloved '90 Toyota Camry went to the salvage yard:( It was such a wonderful car to us!!! My Grandma bought it brand new at a dealership, sold it to my Mom, and then I bought it from my parents in '99. It was my first car, my college car, and became Jesse and my car when we started dating in '00. In the fall of '03 we bought a second car and the Camry became Jesse's car. It's the end of an era- the interior still as comfortable as ever and the engine still purring...just falling apart on the outside and underneath. We will miss it!!

Family shot the night before she went to the salvage yard.

Nice shot from the back, bumper held on with a ratchet strap, "new" gas door that Jesse replaced a few years back (different color from the rest of the car, of course:) Passenger door in the front no longer opened from the outside, once in the backseat, you couldn't get out of the left side- someone had to open the door from the outside:)

Oh, I should mention that the reason we got rid of the Camry (by the way, the salvage yard gave us $300 for it, not bad!) was because my parents gave us their '00 Chevy Malibu so now we have 2 Chevy Malibu's- 1 gray and 1 tan- yeah, I know you're jealous, we are pretty awesome;)
