The rest of Saturday, August 28th...

While Jesse and his Dad, Ben, Nate, Joy, and my Dad hiked Gray Mtn, the rest of us women, the kiddos, and Dan (since he injured his ankle a couple months ago) drove to Lake Placid. We arrived into town around 9:30 a.m., got some coffee/tea, and found a good place for Joanna to nurse Isaiah and let the kids run around.

After that, with the assistance of several strollers, we all walked around Mirror Lake- a 4 mile walk!

By 4 p.m., we were back at the KOA to rest, play, swim, and make dinner. The hikers got back to the KOA before 8 p.m. so they made great timing! SO GLAD I personally did not have to do a 12 hour hike again this year- nice to use Corban's allergies as an excuse;)
