Kentucky Family Reunion

After Jesse got off work on Thursday, July 1st, we drove 6 hours- 1/2 way to Gilbertsville, KY for a family reunion on my Dad's side. We arrived to the Kentucky Dam Village State Park Resort around dinner time Friday night and had an awesome weekend with our family!

Playing volleyball Saturday night with all the cousins- our team didn't do very well but this was one of the highlights of the reunion for me since I miss playing volleyball so much!

Sunday morning church: we all gathered in the driveway between our cottage and Chris and Kelly's cottage and Uncle Wayne taught a great lesson on Jonah and Dan and Kelsey led us in worship- such a blessing to be a part of a Christian family!!

My cousin Kathryn, her friend Bugs, and all the kids- they were so great with the kids (probably because they're still in high school and have A LOT more energy than the rest of us!)

Sunday night after dinner- my Grandpa and cousin Dan playing corn hole (well, that's what we call it here...not sure what they call it but it's that game with the bean bags- lots of fun!)

Monday morning, we hopped in the car and drove the 12+ hours home- the kids did great in the car, surprisingly- yea! Our only complaint for the whole weekend was that we didn't have more time together. It was so fun:)
