June 19th, 2010: Malorie's 1st Birthday!

That's right, our baby is 1 already! We can't believe how fast the last year has gone by. Her actual birthday was on a Saturday so we had a big party for her from 12-2 p.m.

The party theme was "Fun in the Sun; Malorie is 1!" so everything had flip flops on it and I attempted to make the trays of cupcakes look like flip flops- hey, the effort was there, right?! :)

The weather was actually perfect for the party- we didn't feel any raindrops until almost 2 p.m. exactly! I was thankful I decided to keep the food in the house at the last minute, though, as it was a bit of a mad dash to get all the gifts inside when the rain started:)
