Kingdom Bound 2010: August 1-4
We were at Kingdom Bound (at Darien Lake Amusement Park) a lot this year and had a great time! It has been such a blessing the last several years for Jesse's company to be a sponsor of the event so we can get free passes. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't go:( Sunday night, Jeanna babysat the kids so Jesse, Adam, and I could go to see the Newsboys in concert. Then Monday, the kids and I went with Joy and Jeanna to ride rides, go to concerts, listen to speakers, and most of all- get free t-shirts! Ha, ha. That wasn't really a major goal but we did happen to go to a lot of college booths and Joy got free shirts since she works with teenagers:) And that was Jeanna's last day in the U.S. since she flew back to China Tuesday:( Wednesday, the kids and I went again, this time with Joanna, Hannah, Lydia, Isaiah, and Mom N. (oh and Ben came with two teens from their church, too, but we didn't see them most of the day:) It was fun to watch the cousins play together, especially in Splashtown. They all seemed to enjoy the wade pool with floating treasure chests, a snake, and a crocodile:)
Corban posing with Bob the Builder and friends- he watched this show both Monday and Wednesday- he loved it! And now he wants to recycle so it must have been worth me sitting through twice:)
Corban riding one of the rides in the kid area- this area is so awesome. We've visited it several years now that we've discovered it. They have about 10-15 rides specifically for small children and both Corban and Malorie really loved it this year! I love things like this in the summer!
