Pennsylvania Deer Season

We were at my in-laws' farm Thanksgiving Day through Tuesday night to hang out with family for Pennsylvania deer season. Friday and Saturday was still small game season and Monday and Tuesday was the beginning of deer season. We had 13 hunters on our roster this year! Unfortunately, only one of them got a deer in the first two days- my father-in-law's cousin, Tim. Tim got a huge buck so he was pretty excited about that. The weather stunk, too. But we are headed back there next week so hopefully, the hunters have better luck and better weather.

Here's Daddy and Corban getting ready for a walk before Saturday's Thanksgiving dinner.

This is almost everybody- Johnny took the picture and Simba (the dog) was outside. There were 27 people staying at the trailer and farm house this year- it was crazy! For those of you who don't know, the trailer has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a small kitchen, dining room, and living room. The above picture was taken in the living room so you can see how crammed we are in there. And the farm house has 1 bedroom that's almost done and a bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room that has dry wall up with the rest of the house gutted. So, my in-laws, Uncle Harry and Aunt Margaret, and the dog slept in the farm house each night (they set up a bed in the dry walled kitchen) and 23 of us slept in the trailer- it was quite the experience.
In the picture:
Standing from left to right: Me, Corban, Ben, Fawn, Dad, Mom, Joy, Nate
On couches: Jesse, Joanna, Hannah, Jeff, Jeanna, Micah, Isaac, Harry, Kelsey, Scott, Ava
Sitting on the floor: Lori, Garrett, Sharon, Margaret, Christian, Michelle, Renee

Everyone I show the picture of the whole clan to, freaks out. They say we are all crazy and at times I feel we are, but hey, it is fun too. I can't wait to see your little man again. I love the picture of Corban and daddy. It is so cute.
